Mozart Talents in the Spotlight

Mozarthaus Vienna is the place where Mozart composed Le Nozze di Figaro. On this evening, the opera returns there – into the hands of young artists who study at the very university that bears Mozart’s name.

Jiayin Li (piano), Maxim Rims (baritone), and Mina Nori (soprano) – three students of the Mozarteum Salzburg – perform arias and ensembles from Le Nozze di Figaro and Don Giovanni, alongside songs by Mozart and Joseph Haydn as well as piano works that were created in this very house. The evening is hosted by Kammersängerin Univ.-Prof. Ildikó Raimondi.

An evening full of talent, musical joy, and the unique atmosphere of a place that has made music history.

Tickets: €39.–, limited to 55 seats

Jiayin Li, Piano
Jiayin Li from China began her piano studies at the age of twelve at the Mozarteum Salzburg. Since 2024 she has been enrolled in the Master’s programme in Piano Solo, and since 2026 also in the Master’s programme in Lied. As a soloist she has performed with, among others, the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, the Salzburg Chamber Soloists, and at the “Forgotten Pieces” project of the Salzburg Festival. Maxim Rims, Baritone
The Moscow-born baritone Maxim Rims has been studying the Master’s programme in Opera and Music Theatre at the Mozarteum Salzburg since the winter semester 2025/26, under Kai Röhrig, Florentine Klepper, and Ildikó Raimondi. In 2024 he won first prize at the Vienna International Music Competition. He made his Vienna debut as Dr. Falke in Johann Strauss’ Die Fledermaus at the Oper in der Krypta. In the current season he takes on the role of Guglielmo in Die Schule der Liebenden as part of the Mozart Week 2027, as well as Donner in Wagner’s Das Rheingold.

Mina Nori, Soprano
Mina Nori has been studying Bachelor of Vocal Performance under Univ.-Prof. Allison Oakes at the Mozarteum Salzburg since 2023. Her musical training began with the violin before she turned to singing. Already during her studies she has gained stage experience in contemporary and classical productions – including the world premiere of Hossam Mahmoud’s Stabat Mater Furiosa and the role of a Flower Girl in Le Nozze di Figaro at the Mozarteum. She specialises in the Lied as a duo repertoire and has been awarded the Gianna Szel and Rütgers scholarships.
