On this page we provide information about the Austrian Eco-label and the application of the Common Good Balance at Mozarthaus Vienna.

Common Good Balance

Mozarthaus Vienna applies the instrument of the Common Good Balance.

As part of the Common Good Balance, we examine and document our activities based on social, ecological, and ethical criteria. In doing so, we can also establish links to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Austrian Eco-label is officially awarded for four years following independent assessment; for museums, the certification generally covers the entire operation.

Austrian Eco-label

Mozarthaus Vienna has been awarded the Austrian Eco-label for Museums (UZ licence 1479).

The Austrian Eco-label is awarded by the responsible federal ministry following independent assessment. The certification of museum operations is carried out in accordance with Guideline UZ 200 for Tourism, Gastronomy and Cultural Establishments.

Information on our current Eco-label licence, accessibility, and reduced admission prices can be found on the respectively linked information pages.
