Making Mozartkugeln

What connects the Mozartkugel with Wolfgang Amadé Mozart?

The workshop begins with making your own Mozartkugeln from marzipan, nougat, and chocolate—and then continues with a tour through the museum: Vienna in Mozart’s time, his music, and finally the apartment in which he lived and composed.

Mozart Dances

What do Mozart’s dances reveal about the society of his time?

After a tour through the museum—from Mozart’s Vienna to his music and finally his original apartment—a contredanse is rehearsed. This dance form was an integral part of 18th‑century ball culture, in which music, movement, and social life were inseparably connected.
